Setting Up the DK Design Suite Working Environment

To set up the DK Design Suite working environment:

  1. Make sure you have installed the following versions of the Quartus® Prime Standard Edition software and the DK Design Suite software:

    Mentor Graphics

    Altera

    DK DesignSuite version 5.0 SP5

    Quartus® Prime Standard Edition version 15.0
    Note: The Quartus® Prime Standard Edition Software Release Notes are available on the Altera website Definition and provide up-to-date information on which versions of Agility applications the current version of the Quartus® Prime Standard Edition software supports. The Quartus® Prime Standard Editionreadme.txt file provides information on installation and operating requirements. You should read the Release Notes and readme.txt file before installing the Quartus® Prime Standard Edition software. After installation, you can open the Release Notes and readme.txt file from the Quartus® Prime Standard Edition Help menu.
  2. To run an EDA design entry/synthesis, simulation, or timing analysis tool automatically from the Quartus® Prime Standard Edition software using the NativeLink feature, you must specify the location of executable files for third party EDA tools by clicking Options on the Tools menu, and then clicking EDA Tool Options.
