Setting Up a Project with the ModelSim-Altera Software

You can run the Mentor Graphics ModelSim-Altera software, provided with the Quartus® Prime Standard Edition software, from the ModelSim-Altera interface or with command-line commands.

To continue the ModelSim-Altera flow, you canperform a functional simulation with the ModelSim-Altera software, and then you canperform a timing simulation with the ModelSim-Altera software.
